W.Va. man buys winning ticket for brother in Iraq
A South Charleston man bought a Powerball ticket for his brother, an Army National Guard soldier recently deployed to Iraq, and it ended up being worth $50,000. West Virginia Lottery officials said Friday that 20-year-old Dustin Cochran-Washington bought an “easy pick” ticket for his brother, Michael, at a local Go Mart for Wednesday’s drawing.
